What is a good shutter count?
Compare the reading against Canon’s rating for your model (table above): under half the rating is low, around the rating is normal for a used body, and well over means the shutter is living on borrowed time — budget $200–$400 for a replacement. Age matters too: a 2008 body with 20,000 shots can still need service.
